Oldest Restaurants in Phoenix

For my last birthday, otherwise known as the 10th anniversary of my 29th birthday, Brian took me to dinner at Durant’s, one of the oldest, most notorious steakhouses in Phoenix. What fun!

We entered through the back door and walked through the kitchen to our red leather-lined booth. Dinner was amazing and I enjoyed a few too many martinis, but it was worth it.

Phoenix isn’t big on history, but several restaurants have survived the constant reinventions. Today you can find me on Parachute by Mapquest sharing some of the local lore and legends of Phoenix’s oldest restaurants.
